The 2025 offseason is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and unpredictable in recent memory. Several huge names and trade targets present themselves for the Pittsburgh Steelers, from wide receivers like Cooper Kupp and Deebo Samuel to a superstar edge rusher from the NFC East.
Cowboys DE Micah Parsons hinted that Pittsburgh would be the ideal destination if he were ever traded and wanted to return home to the great state of Pennsylvania.
Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero also recently reported that the Cowboys are actually discussing the idea of trading Parsons away:
“While there have been no trade talks, sources say there have at least been some internal discussions about whether to pay Parsons or trade him for a king’s ransom. If the Cowboys are willing to listen, they may get it.”
With the Steelers’ defensive line not getting any younger, acquiring the 25-year-old Parsons would allow the Steel City to continue finding great success at sacking the quarterback for many years to come.
Parsons’ 12 sacks, 12 TFLs, and 23 QB hits in just 13 games during the 2024 season prove that the Pittsburgh Steelers should give up almost anything to acquire the young superstar edge rusher.
