Plus, RB James Cook becomes the first member of the Bills to land on the NFL’s Top 100 list.

The Buffalo Bills have boasted one of the NFL’s most prolific offenses during their five-year reign as champions of the AFC East. Last season, quarterback Josh Allen claimed his first NFL MVP award as the Bills set franchise records for points scored (525), overall touchdowns (65), and rushing TDs (32) in a single season.

Allen logged his fifth-straight season with 40-plus TDs and directed an offense that became the first in league history to score 30-plus rushing and passing TDs in the same season.

This offseason, general manager Brandon Beane brought in free-agent wide receivers Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore to complement an offense that already features wide outs Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel, along with tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, and running backs James Cook, Ray Davis, and Ty Johnson.

But with training camp set to begin later this month, today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by examining the likelihood of general manager Brandon Beane acquiring another weapon for Allen and the offense: disgruntled former All-Pro wide receiver Terry McLaurin.

Examining a potential deal for Washington WR Terry McLaurin

Talented wide receiver Terry McLaurin is set to make $15.5 million in the last year of his current deal with the Washington Commanders, and he’s reportedly “not happy with where things are with an extension,” according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Could the Bills successfully maneuver their salary cap situation and find a way to trade for McLaurin?
