If the average NFL fan hadn’t heard of Cooper DeJean before the Super Bowl, they certainly know his name now.
The rookie cornerback made his presence felt in the first Super Bowl of his career, logging a pick-six against Patrick Mahomes, which spelled the beginning of the end for the Kansas City Chiefs in the title game.
DeJean received a lot of praise for his strong play during the regular season, but it was amplified at the highest level with a global audience.
While his efforts might not have won him Super Bowl MVP, he certainly won over a lot of football fans.
This included Kay Adams, who recently had him on her “Up & Adams” Show, where she asked DeJean about several topics, including “Big Dom”, the Chief Security Officer for the Eagles.
“Big Dom,” otherwise known as Dom DiSandro, has gotten in hot water in the past for getting into a slight altercation with Dre Greenlaw during a game, but was back on the Eagles’ sidelines in 2024 and the Super Bowl.
When asked about DiSandro, DeJean called him “the coolest person I’ve ever met.”

DiSandro is well-liked on the Eagles’ sidelines for his personality and his ability to keep the team safe in big-time situations, even though he might not be as revered across the league.
Greenlaw might not like that he’s allowed on NFL sidelines after their shake-up last year, but DiSandro was fined and suspended accordingly for that action.
Like it or not, DiSandro is a part of the Eagles’ culture, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere in the near future.
