Buffalo Bills starting center Connor McGovern went into the blue medical tent after being injured attempting to recover a James Cook fumble against the Denver Broncos. McGovern exited the blue medical tent and headed to the locker rom.

CBS reported McGovern was being evaluated for a concussion. He was cleared to return after a few minutes and is back on the sidelines.

McGovern was jumped on in the scrum for the football after the Cook fumble. You can see it at the end of this video:

The Buffalo Bills’ offensive line had been incredibly durable over the last couple of seasons, with just a few games missed by the starters. Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins each missed a game in 2025. The only game McGovern missed in 2025 was Week 18 when they rested their starters.

Alec Anderson was in the game for McGovern. He had one bad snap on Buffalo’s lone drive, but Josh Allen corralled it and got back to the line of scrimmage. The Bills were not able to convert on the next play, kicking a tying field goal instead.
