When the Cleveland Browns traded away their face of the franchise, Myles Garrett, to the Los Angeles Rams, they received draft picks and a very good player.
Jared Verse has only been in the league for two seasons, but he earned a Pro Bowl berth both years. That says something, right?

Obviously, there is no comparison of Verse to Garrett. The only evaluations with Garrett at this point in his career are all current or potential Hall of Famers, such as Bruce Smith, Reggie White, J.J. Watt, or Carl Eller.
But what do the Browns actually have in Verse? He can’t – or won’t – replace Garrett. But he can become just as dominant at some point.
