On a night where the great Art Monk’s jersey was retired, Washington completely embarrassed themselves on the field. And, is anyone really that surprised?
The roster is a mess, injuries continue to pile up, and our coaching staff is a complete embarrassment right now. The season is lost and, what’s more concerning to me, is the coaches look to have lost the team.
BLOW THIS MESS UP AND BUILD IT THE RIGHT WAY!!! no more of these aging vets who provide “great leadership”.
Below are my Duds, followed by some notes.
Commanders Coaches: Dan Quinn, Joe Whitt Jr. and even, to a lesser extent, Kliff Kingsbury are first on the list this week. Both Quinn and Whitt should be tried for malpractice for how they have handled the situation this season. At least Kliff is trying to play with the hand he’s been dealt – but even that is a hot mess!
Adam Peters: If the coaches are going to get blame, Adam Peters is TOO! He gave them this massive s%$#-sandwich, full of past-their-prime vets, that they were expected to turn into a Reuben. NOT HAPPENING! Build this team the right way – through the draft! Stop moonlighting for Ron Rivera.
Mikey Sainristil: I don’t know what happened, but the fall of Sainristil is still one of this season’s greatest mysteries. Yes he leads the team in interceptions, but his play has been atrocious.
Quan Martin: Martin CONTINUES to be out of place, slow to react and is missing tackles. This is a recipe for benching.
Marshon Lattimore: I will never celebrate a player’s injury. NEVER! And I do actually feel really bad that Lattimore is likely out for the season with a knee injury. That being said, he was bad yet again – allowing receptions and committing penalties.
Awe, to hell with this – THE ENTIRE DEFENSE (Minus Jeremy Reaves) is on the Duds list!!! I can’t defend this unit any more. THIS IS THE WORST DEFENSE I HAVE EVER SEEN FROM A WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM!
Jaylin Lane: I get he’s a rookie, BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The dropped passes, the mishandled kickoffs – he needs a “Coming to Jesus” moment with someone NOT on the current coaching staff.
How many times can Zach Ertz false start? How many times can he get tackled by one defender who he is both bigger and taller than?
Chris Rodrguez clearly looked like the best running back on the Commanders Sunday night.
I am SO sick and tired of watching Bobby Wagner attempt to run around on the field. Time to hang em’ up ROBERT!
What are we actually paying Preston Smith to do???
Jordan Magee flashed a few times....
