The Washington Commanders kicked off the second season of the Adam Peters/Dan Quinn/Jayden Daniels era with a 21-6 win over the New York Giants. They don’t have any time to celebrate that win, because they’re already prepping for a Thursday Night Football game against the Packers in Green Bay. Practices will be light this week, and they will be traveling tomorrow with a another brief walk-through in the morning before they fly to Wisconsin.
Both teams released estimated injury reports for yesterday’s walkthrough and the Commanders held a light practice today. The team added five players to the injury report who had vet rest days. The only reported injury from the season opener was Tress Way who got rolled up on during a punt by Abdul Carter and he was listed as questionable to return with a back injury. Dan Quinn talked about Way’s injury, him punting today, and not having any concerns about Jayden Daniels’ newly listed right wrist injury in his pre-practice presser.
