The Washington Commanders defeated the New York Giants 21-6 to open the season. They don’t have any time to celebrate that win, because they’re already prepping for a Thursday Night Football game against the Packers in Green Bay. Practices will be light this week, and they will be traveling on Wednesday which will be another walk-through.

Both teams released estimated injury reports for today’s walkthrough. The Commanders list six players with new injuries this week, but the first injury report on a short week isn’t a good indicator of where the team is health-wise. The only reported injury from Washington yesterday was Tress Way getting rolled up on a punt by Abdul Carter and being listed as questionable to return with a back injury. There haven’t been any updates from that injury, or any of the others including Jayden Daniels’ right wrist injury.
