The Washington Commanders held their first practice of the week in Spain as they prepare to host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Dan Quinn talked to reporters earlier, and discussed some of the injuries the team has been dealing with. CB Trey Amos was placed on injured reserve yesterday, with WRs Robbie Chosen and Jacoby Jones getting signed from the practice squad. Washington got some positive injury news, activating the 21-day practice window for S Will Harris. WRs Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown were also at practice today.
Four players didn’t travel to Spain as they deal with injuries. QB Jayden Daniels has already been ruled out, and he’ll miss his second game due to an elbow dislocation. He is expected to be reevaluated after the team’s Week 12 bye, and they will reassess his return to play timeline. WR Treylon Burks is having finger surgery, and LB Ale Kaho didn’t travel after suffering a concussion on a kickoff on Sunday.
Three Commanders players suffered shoulder injuries vs the Lions, and only RB Chris Rodriguez Jr was a full participant today. Dan Quinn said that he would play against the Dolphins. He started for Washington against the Lions. On defense it was LB Frankie Luvu and S Quan Martin who missed snaps last week, and were limited in today’s practice.
