Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Washington Commanders fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
This week we have three questions:
Question 1
The first is our standard question that is asked every week of the season (until December, anyway), asking about your confidence in the team’s direction.
Question 2
Against the Packers on Thursday night, a lot of things went wrong, but in particular, the right side of the offensive line looked vulnerable. Rookie Josh Conerly has looked overmatched for two weeks in a row at right tackle, albeit he has faced high-quality defensive players each week. Nick Allegretti, who was probably the weak link in the 2024 Commanders offensive line playing left guard has been starting at right guard this season.
In today’s 2nd question, we ask what, if anything, should be done to bolster either of these two positions in the short term.
Question 3
Question 3 probably informs the interpretation of the results from Q1; we simply ask, with respect to the Commanders, whether you feel better, worse or about the same now as you did before the season started.
Of course, we invite you to answer the survey questions below, but also feel free to expand on your answers and provide nuance in the comments section. I rely on those comments when discussing the results of the survey when they are posted in a separate article the next few days.
