Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has clearly been putting in the work at the gym this offseason.
Daniels is coming off arguably the greatest rookie season in NFL history. The No. 2 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft threw for 3,568 yards, 25 touchdowns and only nine interceptions to go along with 891 rushing yards and six rushing scores.
Jayden Daniels won Offensive Rookie of the Year honors after leading Washington to a surprise NFC Championship Game appearance, where they fell to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
If Daniels wasn’t problematic enough for opposing defenses last year, we say good luck in year two. As you can see, Daniels has added plenty more muscle to his frame this offseason:

Very noticeable that his arms got bigger & more definition.

The Commanders’ team website lists Jayden Daniels at 210 pounds right now, so we’ll see if that changes in the coming weeks. With the regular season still over three months away, Daniels has plenty of time to add even more muscle to his offseason body transformation.
The LSU product led the Commanders to their first playoff win in 19 years over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round. The magic continued with a stunning blowout 45-31 blowout win over the top-seeded Detroit Lions in the Divisional Round, sending Washington to their first NFC Championship Game since 1991.
Daniels and the Commanders will look to start the 2025 season on a high note when they play host to the NFC East rival New York Giants on Sept. 7. Daniels led Washington to a rare season-series sweep over New York, which has thoroughly dominated the rivalry in the 21st century.
Four days later, the Commanders will travel to Green Bay to visit Jordan Love and the Packers on ‘Thursday Night Football’ at Lambeau Field.
