The Washington Commanders may be nearing Week 3 of the NFL preseason, but trade rumors surrounding Brian Robinson have taken center stage in Washington. Quarterback Jayden Daniels broke his silence Monday night, offering a raw yet measured take on the situation — one that speaks volumes about both the player and the evolving culture inside the locker room.
Robinson, 26, has been a key part of the Commanders’ backfield for three seasons, rushing for over 2,300 yards and scoring 20 total touchdowns. The former Heisman Trophy winner proved himself in a historic rookie campaign in 2024, throwing for 3,541 yards, rushing for 821 more, and totaling 30 touchdowns. If Robinson is traded, the team would lean heavily on Ekeler and Croskey-Merritt.
