Today, we have three questions in the Reacts survey. Two of them that ask what style of coordinator you’d like to see hired to replace Whitt & Kingsbury offer a choice of answers with examples — names of specific individuals — intended to explain the nature of the choice. Don’t get bogged down on these specific names in the examples — feel free to insert different guys mentally who fit the mold that you’d be looking for. To put a finer point on it, when you look at the list of names that exemplify experienced offensive coordinators, you might think of Brian Daboll instead of a guy like Mike McCarthy, whom I included in the exemplars.
Anyway, relax and have a bit of fun imagining your ideal scenario (within the framework of Dan Quinn hiring two brand new coordinators). I encourage you to use the comments section to name the OC/DC pairing that you would hire if you were in DQ’s shoes right now.
