According to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Indianapolis Colts worked out four players on Monday including offensive tackle Bayron Matos, safety Israel Mukuamu, cornerback Levi Wallace, and offensive tackle Trey Wedig:
The 30-year-old Levi Wallace is the most experienced player on this list, having made 72 career starts (appearing in 96 career games). He appeared in 13 games (2 starts) for the Denver Broncos last year, recording 28 tackles (20 solo) and 2 passes defensed. He earned a +66.9 overall grade via PFF during 2024—including a +64.3 coverage grade.
Meanwhile, Wedig is a 6,7”, 310 pound offensive tackle who made 13 starts for the Indiana Hoosiers last year. He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Los Angeles Rams this past offseason, but was waived ahead of final 53-man roster cuts.
Originally a 2021 6th round pick of the Dallas Cowboys, the 6,4”, 215 pound Mukuamu has appeared in 50 career games (3 starts), recording 42 tackles (29 solo), 3 interceptions, 4 passes defensed, and a fumble recovery. He appeared in all 17 games for the Cowboys last season, having 19 tackles (13 solo), 2 interceptions, and 2 passes defensed.
The 6’7”, 334 pound Matos has yet to appear in an NFL game, but was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida back in 2024. He spent last season on the Dolphins practice squad, but was waived with an injury designation ahead of this year’s final 53-man roster cuts.
