The Indianapolis Colts announced on Tuesday that the team has re-signed defensive end Derek Rivers to the team’s practice squad with a vacant taxi-squad spot:

Originally selected by the New England Patriots in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the 6’5,” 250 pound pass rusher has also played with the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, and Houston Texans organizations during his 8-year pro career.

During 24 career games (a start), he has 3.5 sacks, 16 tackles (11 solo), 5 tackles for loss, and 7 QB hits. He has bounced back and forth from on and off the Colts practice squad over the past two seasons since last December, but rejoined his Indy teammates on Tuesday.
