The Indianapolis Colts (7-2) are set to kick off against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, Germany, at 9:30 AM EST, for the league’s first game held in the country’s capital.
There weren’t any unexpected inactives announced by the Colts:
The only interesting name is rookie running back D.J. Giddens, who since opening the season as star workhorse Jonathan Taylor’s primary backup between-the-tackles, has seen his role diminish with veteran Ameer Abdullah’s in-season addition and the return of fellow backup Tyler Goodson.
Otherwise, defensive end Samson Ebukam (knee), wide receiver (special teams returnman) Anthony Gould (knee), and defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin) were already ruled out ahead of Sunday’s international game earlier in the weekend.
As far as backups are concerned, safety Reuben Lowery III, tight end Will Mallory, and offensive tackle Luke Tenuta weren’t needed as much given the depth at their respective positions—all appear to also be healthy inactives.
