Both teams have plenty to play for in this one.

The Indianapolis Colts are set to play their biggest game of the season as they square off against the Denver Broncos from Empower Field on Sunday. Each team is coming off byes having logged wins in their game before the break. Additionally, both are fighting for a playoff spot. The Broncos are currently holding down the seventh spot while the Colts are on the outside looking in from eighth. FanDuel Sportsbook is giving the home team an edge in this one with a 4.5 spread advantage.

The money line is starting at +188 with the over/under coming in at 43.5.

Anthony Richardson and the Colts are coming off a highly dramatic win against the New England Patriots in Foxboro. Things looked bleak as the Colts fell behind seven in the fourth quarter. After throwing an interception, Richardson and the offense got one more shot, and they took advantage. Several fourth down conversions and a gutsy two-point conversion call, put the Colts up one. A NFL record field goal wasn’t long enough as the Patriots fell short.

The Broncos met the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football and turned in a high scoring affair. While it wasn’t his best outing of the season, Bo Nix has been solid for the Broncos. This game, however, went to the defense. Late in the second quarter, with the Browns driving, the Broncos intercepted Jameis Winston and returned it for six. While that pick gave them some breathing room, the interception returned for a touchdown with two minutes remaining, put the game on ice.

With so few games remaining on the schedule, expect whoever wins this to have a huge advantage. If the Broncos win, the Colts will have to focus on a different team to pick off, and it puts their postseason hopes in serious jeopardy. If the Colts can win Sunday, they will be in much better shape to secure a postseason berth. It gives them a win while the team right in front of them takes the loss. They would then hold the tiebreaker which could prove crucial.
