Everything you need to know to successfully watch the Colts take on the Patriots for Week 13!
The Indianapolis Colts (5-7) travel to the New England Patriots (3-9) to take on their longtime arch nemesis at Foxborough.
The ‘Peyton Mannning-Tom Brady’ heated rivalry of the early 2000s is long gone (and both teams have fallen upon much harder times). However, the Colts are hoping to snap a losing streak on the road in New England, where Indianapolis has not win since November of 2006.
Offensively, for the Colts, it starts with getting Jonathan Taylor and the ground game going again, which enables dual-threat 2nd-year quarterback Anthony Richardson to play off of it. Richardson has played much more poised in the pocket and mistake-free the past few weeks since being reinserted and appears to have turned a corner in his development.
While the Colts defensively will hope to stall Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye’s, who they’re hoping to frustrate all afternoon and into takeaways. Similarly to the Colts, the Patriots will want to establish their running game with Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson to set up their young quarterback in the passing game.
