The Indianapolis Colts announced their inactives for Week 17’s home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with no real surprises:
The Colts had already declared starting center Tanor Bortolini (concussion) and rookie backup defensive end JT Tuimoloau (oblique) out before the weekend, as well as downgraded right guard Dalton Tucker (shoulder) to out yesterday.
Veteran backup center Danny Pinter is expected to start in Bortolini’s absence.
It looks like with Tucker out (but starting left tackle Bernhard Raimann back), the Colts will be carrying offensive tackle Luke Tenuta for extra depth in this one. The Colts also elevated both center Jimmy Morrissey and offensive guard Josh Sills for additional interior backups earlier in the weekend.
The only real update here is that backup running back Tyler Goodson (ankle), who was previously listed as questionable, is now out for Sunday’s action. With Goodson out, rookie running back D.J. Giddens, who’s frequently been a healthy inactive, will be available for Sunday’s game.
With Tuimoloau out, the Colts over the weekend signed veteran defensive lineman Chris Wormley to the 53-man active roster, who’s been back-and-forth from the team’s practice squad down the season’s final stretch run.
Both safety Reuben Lowery III and veteran George Odum appear to be healthy scratches.
Lastly, with tight end Drew Ogletree (oblique) placed on injured reserve, tight end Will Mallory is also active.
It’s worth noting that the trio of wide receiver Ashton Dulin (hamstring), cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf), and left tackle Bernhard Raimann (elbow) are all expected to play today against the Colts’ divisional rivals.
