The Indianapolis Colts announced their inactives for Week 13 at home against the Houston Texans, with no real surprises listed below.

However, it looks as though veteran defensive tackle Chris Wormley was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday at the expense of Eric Johnson II’s availability in this one:

Otherwise, the five player group of cornerback Johnathan Edwards, running back D.J. Giddens, safety Reuben Lowery III, tight end Will Mallory, and offensive tackle Luke Tenuta remain inactive for a consecutive week.

It’s worth noting that Tyler Warren is not listed here, while Mallory is—meaning that the Colts top rookie tight end was reportedly expected to play on Sunday morning, and all signs point to that currently being the case.

Colts rookie running back D.J. Giddens continues to remain a healthy scratch, as he’s been passed up in the positional pecking order by veteran backups Ameer Abdullah and Tyler Goodson respectively.

Giddens had opened the season as star workhorse Jonathan Taylor’s primary backup between-the-tackles, but has seen his role completely reduced after undergoing a few growing pains—in favor of Indy’s more pass catching oriented backs. It’ll be interesting to see if he can overcome that rookie learning curve and be available again.

Otherwise, Indianapolis is very healthy for this time of year with just linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ankle) still out, and of course, veteran defensive tackle DeForest Buckner remains on injured reserve during the interim period of time. Indy is hoping to have both players return to the football field soon.
