The Colorado Buffaloes made a significant announcement on Friday that proves head coach Deion Sanders will be just fine, even without Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter were Colorado’s two best players in 2023 and 2024, with the latter taking home Heisman Trophy honors last season. Along with Deion Sanders, these two put the Buffaloes back on the college football map and made the club can’t-miss entertainment.

But the Buffaloes will look a lot different next year, with Hunter and Shedeur now in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Hunter with the No. 2 pick, and Sanders unexpectedly fell to round five before the Cleveland Browns selected him at No. 144 overall.

For those who think the Buffaloes will lose popularity without Sanders and Hunter, well, the Buffaloes have news for you. On Friday, the team announced that season tickets for 2025 have already sold out:

Single-game tickets to watch Deion Sanders’ squad at Folsom Field aren’t cheap, either. If you look at the prices on the team website, you’ll see that tickets are starting at $110 or more for six of the seven home games. The cheapest ticket on the team site is $88 for the Sept. 6 home game against Delaware.

Buff Nation, you did it again!

Hunter and Sanders were pivotal in Colorado’s success and return to relevance, but Deion Sanders’ performance as a college football head coach thus far shows they’ll find a way to manage without those two. If anything else, generating more revenue for the school helps the chances of recruiting more football talent via NIL deals.
