College football players to watch- NCAA Week 7
Canal Street Chronicles Canal Street Chronicles

We have reached the midway point of the 2025 college football season already. This week features multiple Top-25 matchups as well as a number of highly-touted teams that are on upset alert. This Saturday will make or break some teams’ seasons. These are the guys I believe Saints fans will want to pay extra attention to as they step up and make the big plays for their school.

David Bailey

The unbeaten Red Raiders are hosting the Kansas Jayhawks this weekend. Bailey, a 6’3”, 250lb linebacker out of Irvine, California, is on pace for his career high in sacks through his collegiate career. The aggressive player is an elite talent coming off the edge and has already secured 5.5 sacks through five games. He’s also forced a fumble and will look to have a big impact against the conference foe.

Jack Endries

Texas’ Jack Endries is a large man. He is listed at 6’4” tall and weighs in at 240lbs. The versatile tight end has caught two touchdown passes for the Longhorns this season and will face a tough outing this weekend as SEC rivals Texas and Oklahoma square off in the Red River Rivalry.

T.J. Parker

After taking a deeper look at Clemson’s Peter Woods during Week 2 of the CFB season, I’ve got my eyes on his partner in crime, T.J. Parker, this week as a potential Saints’ draft pick. Parker, although having a down year thus far with just two sacks, is a menace on the field and gives opposing QBs nightmares with his quickness from the defensive end position. The Tigers face a road matchup this weekend against the Boston College Eagles.

What are some other names you’re keeping an eye on throughout the back half of the season? Are there any players in particular that you’re hoping to see in a Saints’ uniform in 2026? Let us hear it in the comments!
