In what is effectively the final full weekend of college football, let’s get right into “Rivalry Weekend” with a small slate of Friday games. Perfect for consuming with leftover repast food and drink. Although conference championships have yet to be decided, the will be the final opportunity for some teams to make a major move towards the 12-team college football playoffs.

As of this week #1 Ohio State, #2 Indiana, #3 Texas A&M, #4 Georgia, #5 Texas Tech, #6 Oregon, #7 Ole Miss, #8 Oklahoma, #9 Notre Dame, #10 Alabama, #11 Miami, and #12 Tulane fill the projected bracket.

On the outside looking in are 10-1 BYU, 9-2 Utah, 9-2 Vanderbilt, 9-2 Michigan, 9-2 Virginia, and 9-2 Georgia Tech. All these teams have “must win” stamped on their programs.

These are the names/games TST will be monitoring, but there are dozens of others in action. Tell us about your favorite matchups, prospects, or teams in the forum.

#4 Georgia @ #23 Georgia Tech

12:30 p.m. PST on ABC

Eyes on: Bulldog QB Gunner Stockton (JR) walked out with his teammates on Senior Day. Since it’s a big hint that he wants to go pro, scouts must be in his ear after a really strong season. TE Oscar Delp (SR) is a sleeper that has a solid all-round game. For GT, it’s all about QB Haynes King (SR), but they have a couple of smallish WR’s that deserve some attention, Eric Rivers (SR) and Malik Rutherford (SR). G Keylan Rutledge gets a draftable grade as well.

#3 Texas A&M @ #16 Texas

4:30 p.m. PST on ABC

Eyes on: A&M has long list of prospects. As far as sleepers, RB Leveon Moss (SR) is out for the year, but has some juice. TE Theo Melin Ohrstrom (JR) is monolith at 6’ 7” 265 lb. The buzz around Texas is that Arch Manning (SO) has impressed scouts and may be back as top QB prospect. CB Malik Muhammad (JR) is one Rams fans might want to get acquainted with.

#20 Arizona State @ #25 Arizona

6 p.m. PST on FOX

Eyes on: Will Sam Leavitt come back to the Sun Devils or transfer to a program with bigger reach? Offensive linemen RT Max Iheanachor (SR) and C Ben Coleman (SR) deserve a look and RB Raleek Brown is a sneaky goo run/catch threat. Arizona wildcat QB Noah Fifita is quite small, but can really throw the rock to a pair of small senior WR’s, Javin Whatley and Kris Hutson (SR). On defense, I really like CB’s Treydan Stukes (SR) and Ayden Garnes (SR).

Sleeper prospects

#7 Ole Miss @ Mississippi St. 9 a.m. PST on ABC

Eyes on: Rebels senior WR’s De’Zhaun Stribling and Harrison Wallace, and S Wydett Williams (SR). State boasts CB Kelley Jones (SO), S Issac Smith (JR) and WR’s Brennen Thompson (SR) and Anthony Evans (JR).

Iowa @ Nebraska 9 a.m. PST on CBS

Eyes on: Iowa has one of the NCAA’s top offensive...
