The race for the college football playoffs is in full heat. The current 12 teams in ranked order are, Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Georgia, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama, Miami, and Tulane. There are still a half-dozen teams very much in the mix.

9 a.m. PST on ABC
Eyes on: After starting 5-0, Mizzou has lost 3 of 5 and their #1 QB. Ahmad Hardy (SO) leads the nation in rushing. Tigers offensive line prospects LT Cayden Green (JR), C Connor Tollison (SR), and RT Keagan Trost (SR) will need a big effort. OU has had its problems on offense, the run game has not been seen. QB John Mateer (JR) leads in rushing yards with 453, but has lost 124. Preseason top-ranked RB transfer Jaydn Ott (SR) only played in six games and logged a mere 21 carries.
12:30 p.m. PST on CBS
Eyes on: The men of Troy need this game to stay in the playoffs hunt. The SC run game is down to a walk-on, but King Miller (FR) has been solid. QB Jayden Maiava (JR) has been steadily moving up draft boards and has two possible Round 1 WR’s to target, juniors Makai Lemon and Ja’kobi Lane. Oregon counters with a possible Top 10 pick at QB, Dante Moore (SO). He has a bevy of weapons at his disposal and stands behind A strong Offensive line C Iapani Laloulu (JR), RG Dave Iuli (JR), LG Emmanuel Pregnon (SR), RT Alex Harkey (SR) and LT Isaiah World (SR).
4 p.m. PST on ESPN
Eyes on: Pitt has talent on both sides of the ball. On offense RB Desmond Reid (SR) is a run/catch threat and WR Kenny Johnson (JR) doubles as a strong returner. Ryan Baer, Jeff Persi, and BJ Williams lead the offensive line, Defensively, active junior hybrid’s Rasheem Biles and Kyle Louis patrol while S Cruce Brookins (SO) handles deep coverage. Georgia Tech wins on the shoulders of senior QB Haynes King (SR). RB Jamal Haynes (SR) and WR’s Eric Rivers (SR) and Malik Rutherford (SR) are darting and fast. DT Jordan van den Berg (SR) keys the defense.
5 p.m. PST on FOX
Eyes on: BYU needs a win to stay in the playoffs and Big12 championship hunt. Freshman QB Bear Bachmeier targets WR’s Parker Kingston (JR) and Chase Roberts (SR). Junior RB LJ Martin 6’ 2” 220 lbs. runs with power and can catch. Cincy QB Brendan Sorsby (JR) is a run/throw threat and has two good RB’s Tawee Walker (SR) and Evan Pryor (SR).
