There’s little time left to share Super Bowl thoughts, as Super Bowl Sunday has arrived, and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl LVII rematch, aiming for the first three-peat in NFL history.
You can’t be a member of the NFL’s media space without taking a hard stand on a Super Bowl prediction, and Colin Cowherd recently provided his.
With The Herd down in New Orleans for Super Bowl week, Cowherd shared his official Super Bowl pick on Sunday morning.
“On occasion, I would pick against (Tom) Brady in the biggest games and almost always was reminded that was a mistake…I like Kansas City,” Cowherd said.

Cowherd explained why he is picking the Chiefs, highlighted the team’s 12-0 record in one-score games this season, and gave Andy Reid credit for how consistently well his teams perform off a bye week, which all combined with some other impressive stats he listed led him to settle on a 30-27 win for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles 38-35, and even though these are two of the NFL’s top defenses, it seems fitting that they will have another shootout, especially considering that the Eagles are coming off a 55-point performance in the NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders.
Cowherd also credited the Chiefs with winning 37 straight games when winning the turnover battle and noted that they are 7-0 this year, even when their opponent doesn’t generate a turnover.
Turnovers will be an interesting battle, as these were two of the league’s stingiest teams in terms of giveaways this season the Chiefs turned the ball over just 14 times, while the Eagles did so 15 times.
We’ll see if Cowherd is right in just a few hours.
