Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans – 1st Quarter discussion

Today, the Cleveland Browns take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season. The Browns (3-9) are coming off a loss to the 49ers that was difficult to evaluate because of the special teams unit blowing things so badly. With every game that goes by, though, that window for Shedeur Sanders to prove himself worthy of a starting job in 2026 gets smaller, intensifying Cleveland’s need to draft a quarterback. The Titans (1-11) have their quarterback after taking Cam Ward first overall — it’s just that he hasn’t been able to have a very prolific season with the amount of sacks and pressure he’s faced.

This is another game that should be shaping up for a Browns victory, just because of their defense alone. However, the Titans have a solid special teams unit, and you never know when Cleveland’s group will muck things up again.
