The Cleveland Browns have a tough fight waiting for them in the AFC North when the 2025 NFL season kicks off. Last year, that fight didn’t go so well in Cleveland, with the Browns finishing with a 3-14 record, good enough for last place in the division.

Naturally, the Browns hope to avoid the same fate this year, but they could need a lot of help to get there, especially considering the lack of quarterback clarity in Cleveland.

Knowing that they’ll need to be at their best to compete for a playoff spot, is it possible the Browns would cut one of their former Pro Bowlers before the season even kicks off?

What about the projected starting quarterback? Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay recently suggested the possibility of the Browns deciding Joe Flacco is the odd man out in their clunky four-man quarterback rotation, naming the former Pro Bowl QB as a possible cut candidate.

Or are they more prepared to evaluate their young quarterbacks in an effort to find a potential future franchise solution?
