Cleveland Browns linebacker and 2019 first-round pick Devin Bush was arrested on Sunday in Bell Acres Borough, court documents show.

Per Colin Dunlap of KDKA Pittsburgh Radio, Devin Bush was arrested for harassment and simple assault. Details of the incident aren’t exactly clear, including the location and alleged victim(s). The documents show that Bush is awaiting preliminary arraignment.

Bell Acres Borough is part of Allegheny County, just outside of Pittsburgh. The Michigan product was drafted 10th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 and spent his first four seasons there.

The Steelers actually traded up via the Denver Broncos to select Devin Bush, one of two linebackers taken in the top 10 that year (Devin White went fifth overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers).

Bush never reached his full potential in Pittsburgh despite a stellar 2019 rookie year. That year, he had two interceptions, four pass breakups, once forced fumble, a sack and 109 combined tackles.

The 2018 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year signed with the Seattle Seahawks in 2023, appearing in 13 games in a rotational role. Bush signed with the Browns last year, recording one sack, three pass breakups and 76 combined tackles.

Devin Bush Re-Signed With Browns On One-Year Deal

Bush started 10 games for the Browns after playing limited snaps with the Seahawks a year earlier. The Browns liked what they saw and re-signed him to a one-year pact worth $3.25 million.
