During the season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.

The Browns are coming off a loss to the Chicago Bears, and with how lopsided last week’s game was, fan confidence dropped by 17 percentage points down to 30%. The injuries have piled up, key players have gone on IR, and the competitive spirit just didn’t seem to be there, as opposing teams are having their way with Cleveland in all facets. The Browns’ opponents this week, the Buffalo Bills, have 51% confidence from their fanbase in the direction of their team. That’s an example of a team with higher standards, where fans also potentially see their chances of winning the big one slipping if they don’t patch up some of their flaws. Even though they came back and won last week, it took a big rally to make it happen.

We asked two other questions to fans this week, the first of which was about what fans attributed the most to the lopsided loss to the Bears last week. I said that “all of the above” wasn’t an option, but based on the way the votes were spread out, I think a lot of fans believe strongly in all three positions: 37% said too many injuries, 35% said bad coaching and preparation, and 28% said that the players have phoned it in now.

Our other question revolved around Shedeur Sanders. A week after he accounted for 4 touchdowns, he had 3 interceptions against Chicago. With the down performance, we wondered if your impression of him had changed. However, 59% of fans said their impression stayed the same, 27% said it worsened, while 14% said it actually improved.
