During the season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.
The end of that game really helped boost perspective for the Cleveland Browns, in the sense that, “the defense is real, and meanwhile, we’re still hoping the offense gets their act together.” Fan confidence jumped back up to 62%, an increase of 33 percentage points from the previous week. Technically, fan confidence shouldn’t have just drastic differences from week to week unless there is a major injury. Nonetheless, we’re used to it, because a win gives fans hope that maybe, just maybe, the team’s plan actually is on the path to working. Our opponents this week, the Detroit Lions, have 99% confidence from their fanbase in the direction of their team.
We asked two other questions to fans this week, the first of which asked what the most important play was to turn the game around Green Bay last week. Leading the way was the blocked field goal by Shelby Harris (46%), but the interception by Grant Delpit was right up there. The couple of big runs that Quinshon Judkins had weren’t held in the same regard (12%).
Our other question asks what Browns fans are expecting from this week’s game against the Lions. 72% of fans are calling for a Lions win, while 28% think Cleveland can actually pull off another NFC North upset.
