Cleveland Browns Eyeing Hall of Fame Coach, Tantalizing QB?

Don’t tell it to the players, but many would agree that this year is largely a rebuilding season for the Cleveland Browns. Sure, Myles Garrett says he “expects to get to the Super Bowl,” but the odds of the Browns actually doing so in February of 2026 are slim to none, especially without a defined starting quarterback.

So, if the Browns do have another disappointing season after winning just three games last year, needless to say, head coach Kevin Stefanski’s time in Cleveland could come to an end. Unless the Browns can find a star QB, they could be back in the market for a replacement next offseason, even though they added four new players at the position since last season.

According to Colin Cowherd, the Browns may be eyeing a future power couple of head coach Nick Saban and quarterback Arch Manning in 2026.

𝗥𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗦: Colin Cowherd has heard that the Browns are eyeing both Arch Manning and Nick Saban for 2026.

"This is not a conspiracy theory… this story is a poorly kept secret. The Mannings, Haslem, Jimmy Sexton, Nick Saban"

Of course, this report from Cowherd must be taken with a truckload of salt, as Manning has made no indication that he’ll enter the 2026 NFL Draft after just one full season as the Texas Longhorns’ starting QB. Plus, if the Browns are already plotting future head coaching changes, then Stefanski might as well list his house right now, because his team is expecting him to fail.

Though we will admit, the idea of pairing coach Saban with the latest Manning spawn is pretty enticing. In other words, we could see an NFL owner like Jimmy Haslam trying to put together a vision board that leads to a more successful future.
