Quinshon Judkins made his NFL debut for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The rookie running back was not suspended by the team for allegations of domestic assault and battery.

He actually got the start!

Meanwhile, the National Football League continues to investigate an incident from July. It is still possible that Roger Goodell and company could choose to issue a punishment in coming days or weeks.

The Cleveland Browns did not suspended Quinshon Judkins.

The Browns selected the former Ole Miss and Ohio State running back with the No. 36 overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. However, Judkins did not sign his rookie contract until Sept. 6.

He was a full participant at minicamp but that was it. Cleveland’s rookie ball-carrier sat out from training camp. Nor did he join the team prior to the first game of the regular season.

Judkins finally returned to practice for the first time since minicamp last week after a two-week roster exemption. The Browns moved him to the active roster on Saturday in time for what was initially presented as a “limited role” on Sunday.

He recorded his first NFL touch on the first drive of his first game after he took the field as RB1.

Meanwhile, Quinshon Judkins remains under investigation.

The NFL could still issue punishment.

Judkins was arrested on July 12 on initial charges of domestic violence.

However, prosecutors in the state of Florida determined a conviction was unlikely based on numerous factors. They chose not to proceed with formal charges after an internal investigation.

The NFL does not have to adhere to this same course of action.

Judkins met with league officials in New York on Wednesday as part of the league’s investigation into potential violations of the personal-conduct policy. He could still be suspended.

Local Ohio radio host Ken Carman believes it is inevitable. We’ll see.
