In a contest between eliminated playoff contenders, the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders are playing for who gets the better draft position. And by better, I mean the team that loses wins once April of next year comes around.

According to FanDuel, the Cowboys are 8.5-point favorites over the Commanders. I never like two score spreads for a road team playing a division rival. Sure, the Cowboys should win by that much, but I can never trust these setups and will say the same thing when the Lions-Vikings game thread drops later today. Dallas should win even though they have choked away every opportunity to make a playoff run this season.
Prediction: Cowboys 27, Commanders 20.
