As the Philadelphia Eagles approach Week 15 with an impressive 11-2 record, whispers of internal tension have begun to surface.
Their recent performances have sparked speculation about potential chemistry issues, particularly between wide receiver A.J. Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Former NFL quarterback Chris Simms has been vocal about the underlying dynamics with the Eagles.
“There’s issues in that locker room and a lot of them stem around Jalen Hurts. I know that from too many people in credible positions,” Simms said, via Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz. “… He’s flown home with the owner on the private plane when the rest of the team goes home on the team plane. There’s just been too many things like that.”

Despite these concerns, the Eagles remain a formidable team. Their roster boasts arguably the best offensive line, receivers, running backs and defense in the league.
However, Simms argues that their offense has been underwhelming, especially against weaker defenses like those of the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers.
The criticism centers on a seemingly simplistic approach. While the Eagles continue to win, Simms believes they’re not executing at the level expected of a true Super Bowl contender.
The inability to decisively dominate weaker opponents has raised questions about their playoff potential.
Their talent is unquestionable, but underlying issues could prove detrimental to their championship aspirations.
Brown and Hurts have publicly denied any tension, attempting to quash rumors of discord.
Yet Simms’ insider perspective suggests there might be more brewing beneath the surface than the team is willing to admit.
