Everything that went down during Kansas City’s sixth training camp practice in St. Joseph.
On Monday morning, the Kansas City Chiefs returned to the practice field at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph for the fourth full practice of the team’s 2025 training camp.
This was one of 17 sessions scheduled for the team’s practice field next to MWSU’s Spratt Stadium. 10 of the remaining practices will be open to the public — click here for details and a full schedule — while one more will be open only to the team’s Season Ticket Members.
Arrowhead Pride editor-in-chief Pete Sweeney was there. He posted some observations on social media — beginning with a somewhat cooler day.
A cornerback who went into the medical tent during Sunday’s practice was held out on Monday.
At least for now, the team seems to be set on the offensive line’s left side.
Two former second-round wideouts — one of them fighting to get on the roster, one of them fighting to stay on it — went through their paces.
The rookie cornerback continued to shine when the team moved onto 11-on-11s.
The crowd was treated to a big-man score.
Pete kept track of which running backs seemed to be at the top of the heap...
...along with the punt returners.
Then he kept score, tallying up an offensive win during 7-on-7s.
At the end of that period, a former Wisconsin Badger made a big play.
The team continued to work their new players into first-string reps.
One of them even led quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ 11-on-11 target list.
The next practice will be Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. Arrowhead Time. As always, we will have live updates after practice begins. When it is over, tight ends and receivers will sign autographs, while head coach Andy Reid will be among those speaking to the press.
