The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
The Chiefs will be without cornerback Trent McDuffie, tackle Jaylon Moore, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, and wide receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton. Joining them as healthy scratches are guard C.J. Hanson and former Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce — who signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Saturday.
The Chiefs ruled out McDuffie, Moore, Nnadi, Rice, and Thornton among nine players on Friday’s final injury report. The list also included cornerback Nazeeh Johnson and rookie tight end Jake Briningstool, who remain on the team’s Reserve/Injured list but practiced this week after being designated for return. Linebacker Leo Chenal and tackle Jawaan Taylor are not listed as inactive after the pair were placed on the Reserve/Injured list in Saturday’s slew of roster moves.
Also on Saturday, Kansas City elevated practice squad linebacker Cole Christiansen and tackle Matt Waletzko to the active roster. As elevated players, they will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. Both are active for the contest.
The Titans have also released their list of inactives.
The Titans will be without linebacker Cedrick Gray, already ruled out on Friday.
Safety Erick Hallett II, guard Drew Moss, defensive tackle Cam Horsley, guard Garrett Dellinger, and tackle Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson will also not be available. Horsley was signed to Tennessee’s active roster from the practice squad on Saturday.
The Titans have elevated cornerback Kemon Hall from their practice squad for the matchup. He will dress for the game.
