Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. In the NFL’s Week 14, Kansas City will host the Houston Texans on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for “Sunday Night Football.” Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
Here is the Chiefs’ final official injury report of the week, including game designations.

Some notes
- Josh Simmons — who left last Thursday’s game in Dallas with a wrist injury — has been placed on the Chiefs’ Reserve/Injured list. So while he will miss the game on Sunday, he is not on the injury report. Under NFL rules, he will miss at least four games.
- A surprise change: wide receiver Nikko Remigio (shoulder-concussion) has been a full participant all week. On Friday, though, he was downgraded to limited participation — apparently after suffering a concussion during practice. Now he’s been declared out for the Texans game.
- It doesn’t sound like Remigio’s absence will be a critical problem. “I’ve got two guys that are dynamic with Brashard [Smith] and [Tyquan] Thornton,” said special teams coordinator Dave Toub on Thursday. “And then, Nikko is just solid. He is a solid and really good blocker. He’s going to get the yards [that are] blocked up — and I’m happy having him back there at least as one of the guys. Then the other guys? I’ve been rotating [them], as you’ve been noticing. I was happy with Brashard. He got in there, and he had a nice return — the bounce, a 33-yarder, I think it was. But he is going to get a little bit more as we go.”
- The potential absence of right guard Trey Smith (ankle) and right tackle Jawaan Taylor (triceps – knee) is another matter, however. Both did not participate for a third straight day — and have now been listed as doubtful for the game.
- Cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace (back) was also held out again. He’s out for Sunday’s game.
- For the Texans, starting defensive tackle Tim Settle (foot) is no longer on the injury report after being placed on the team’s Reserve/Injured list.
- Houston has filled Settle’s spot by claiming former Buffalo Bills cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram from waivers.
- Four Texans who were limited on Thursday were upgraded to full participation on Friday: starting defensive end Will Anderson Jr. (chest – shoulder), starting running back Woody Marks (ankle), starting right tackle Trent Brown (hand) and rotational defensive tackle Denico Autry (knee).
- Houston starting cornerback Kamari Lassiter (foot) was upgraded to full participation, but has been listed as questionable for the matchup in Kansas City.
- Special teams linebacker Jamal Hill (hamstring) and special teams safety Jaylen Reed (forearm) again did not participate. Both are out for the Week 14 game.
