In four years at Baylor, Presley logged more than 1,000 receiving yards.

The Kansas City Chiefs have added wide receiver Hal Presley to their 90-man roster, according to the NFL’s official transactions report.

Presley entered the league this past spring as an undrafted free agent from Baylor. The 6‑foot‑3, 197‑pound receiver first landed with the Buffalo Bills but was cut after their two‑day rookie minicamp.

Over a four-year college career in Waco, Presley logged 81 receptions, 1,048 yards and seven touchdowns. He earned an All‑Big 12 honorable mention in 2022 with 32 catches for 382 yards and four scores.

Kansas City’s wide receiver room is well established at the top, but roughly seven players are battling for the final one or two spots. Presley now joins that competition, though he’s realistically aiming for a position on the practice squad.

Presley effectively replaces the recently waived Justyn Ross in the final open spot on the 90-man roster.
