On Sunday, September 14th, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in a rematch of Super Bowl LIX, in which the Eagles dominated the Chiefs 40-22.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Kansas City has opened as a 1.5-point underdog in the game.

In Week 1, the Chiefs opened as three-point favorites against the Los Angeles Chargers, but lost the game 27-21. The Eagles are coming off a 24-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the league’s opening game.

The Chiefs are not accustomed to starting their season with a loss. Friday’s was only the third Week 1 defeat the team has suffered under Andy Reid’s tenure as head coach.

The game will feature a pair of Super Bowl MVPs at quarterback. Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts are knotted at a 2-2 record, each with one regular-season win and a Super Bowl win over the other. Sunday looks to be the next exciting chapter in the rivalry.
