Kansas City is favored to win its opening game of the 2025 NFL season.
With the full release of the NFL’s official schedule for 2025, we finally confirmed one of the NFL’s open secrets: that the Los Angeles Chargers would host the Kansas City Chiefs in a Week 1 game on Friday, September 5 at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Arrowhead Time. The game will be the first-ever NFL game streamed exclusively by YouTube — and fans will be able to watch the stream free of charge!
The game will also be broadcast on local television stations in Kansas City and Los Angeles.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Kansas City has opened as a 2.5-point favorite in its season opener against Los Angeles.
In Week 2, the Chiefs will host the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl LIX, in which Kansas City is currently a 1.5-point favorite on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
