As the career of Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey has progressed, he has only strengthened the reason to believe he is the NFL’s best center and one of the league’s top offensive linemen. He now has two consecutive first-team All-Pro seasons and hasn’t missed a game in his five-year career.
He also deserves credit for how seamless the process has been for left guard Kingsley Suamataia to replace the only player voted higher than Humphrey on the “interior offensive lineman” rankings this year.
2. Creed Humphrey, Kansas City Chiefs
Thuney’s former teammate in Kansas City has been a top center in the league since being picked in the second round in 2022. Humphrey has been a Pro Bowler the last four seasons and an All-Pro the past two as the anchor of the line for the Chiefs.
Humphrey allowed just eight pressures, one sack and two QB hits last season, according to PFF.
Cyrus Allen, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (Round 5, No. 176)
Cyrus Allen took advantage of his opportunity at OTAs and minicamp to impress the Kansas City Chiefs during offseason workouts. After previously playing at Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M, Allen led Cincinnati with 51 receptions, 674 receiving yards, and his 13 receiving TDs set a single-season program record while placing third in the FBS. The Chiefs have question marks at slot receiver, so it wouldn’t be shocking if he played himself into some reps.

“It’s hard to get the job done when we’re scrambling or on our backs. If you give Pat (Patrick Mahomes) any time, with a run game and some play action. In every clip I’ve seen of the Chiefs so far, he’s been under center, handing off, and I’m like, yes. I’m telling you, you give him time and protection like that, he’s unbelievable.”

Trevor Lauck, OT, Iowa (No. 28 overall)
Josh Simmons’ dependability will be tested at left tackle in 2026 after missing half of his rookie season due to injury and personal reasons. Jaylon Moore is likely leaving at right tackle, but this could be a year to test younger players like Esa Pole there anyway. Inside at guard, Kingsley Suamataia will be coming into a contract year in 2027. It’s possible Lauck gives them a higher ceiling with security at multiple spots to maintain the offensive front.
