Falcons trade 2027 sixth-round pick to Chiefs for Wanya Morris, seventh-round pick | Atlanta Falcons
This is the second time this very offseason that the Falcons have gone to the offensive line well in Kansas City, having previously signed fellow tackle Jawaan Taylor earlier this offseason in the wake of Kaleb McGary’s retirement. Taylor had also been with the Chiefs since 2023, having started all 45 games he appeared in over the last three seasons. In fact, Morris spent much of his own time in Kansas City as a backup to Taylor.
Morris is a Georgia native and attended state football powerhouse Grayson High School before committing to Tennessee. He spent two seasons with the Volunteers before finishing his college career with Oklahoma. Morris was drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the No. 92 overall pick.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was released from the Dallas County Jail just before 9 a.m. Tuesday after serving a 30-day sentence stemming from a 2024 car crash.
Rice was arrested last month after failing a drug screening, testing positive for THC while on probation.
Right after checking out from jail, Rice ran past CBS News Texas photojournalist Tim Anders and climbed into the back seat of a black Range Rover SUV that was waiting for him on Commerce Street. Rice did not respond when Anders asked if he had anything to say to his fans.
Mahomes family arrives at Arrowhead Stadium for first Kansas City World Cup match | FOX4
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes were spotted arriving at Arrowhead Stadium for a different type of game day.
The couple was spotted holding hands as they arrived at GEHA Field Tuesday evening almost an hour before kick-off for the first World Cup match in Kansas City.
The Chiefs superstar presented the game ball ahead of the Argentina-Algeria match.
Patrick starred in a commercial for Adidas alongside global Argentinian soccer superstar, Lionel Messi, last year. Brittany and Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, also starred in the commercial titled “You Got This.”
There was soccer-chanting and dancing at Kansas City Stadium, where the Star-Spangled Banner ends in “… home of the Chiefs!”
In Kansas City Stadium, though, $24.35 is needed for 22-ounce draft beer, $8 for bottle of water and $59.99 FIFA T-shirt. A bag of chips seemed like a bargain at $6.84, but not the $9.59 bag of nuts.
If things seemed a little pricey at the concession stands, there were some bonding moments that fans of all languages could appreciate — especially those familiar with American football....
