The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s road game against the New York Giants.

As expected, defensive end Michael Danna (quad), cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) and wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) won’t dress for the game. Neither will tight end Jared Wiley, running back Elijah Mitchell and offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad. But rookie wideout Jalen Royals (knee) will make his Kansas City debut against New York.

Danna and Fulton were declared out in Friday’s final injury report. While Worthy and Royals were listed as questionable, the team downgraded Worthy to out on Saturday.

With Danna out, defensive end Malik Herring is active for the first time this season.

Saturday also brought news that the team had elevated practice squad cornerback Kevin Knowles to the active roster. As an elevated player, he will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. Knowles can only be elevated for one more regular-season game. If the Chiefs want him to play again before the playoffs, he’ll have to be activated to the roster.

The Giants have also released their list of inactives.

As we anticipated, linebacker Darius Muasau (concussion/eye), defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches (foot), and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles will not play against Kansas City. Neither will defensive end Chauncey Golston (ankle), tight end Thomas Fidon, and offensive lineman Evan Neal. But tackle Andrew Thomas (foot) and wide receiver Gunner Olszewski (back) will dress for the game. Jameis Winston is designated as the emergency third quarterback.

On Friday, Muasau was listed out for the game, while Nunez-Roches and Flannigan-Fowles were both shown as doubtful. Golston, Thomas and Olszewski were all declared questionable.

The Giants have elevated defensive tackle Elijah Garcia and linebacker Neville Hewitt from their practice squad to the active roster. Both will dress on Sunday night.
