Arrowhead Pride
For the first time since 2006, the (6-5) Kansas City Chiefs will play on Thanksgiving Day in another matchup with a playoff hopeful: the (5-5-1) Dallas Cowboys. The Chiefs will be this season’s visitor for the annual holiday game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, kicking off at 3:30 p.m. Arrowhead time. It will be one of three NFL games on Thursday.
Kansas City is looking to build off a 23-20 overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts and continue making up ground in the AFC playoff race. The Cowboys are energized following an incredible comeback to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 this past Sunday; Dallas was down 21-0 early in the contest.
Both teams are currently 10th in the conference standings, with their sights set on the postseason. The Chiefs and Cowboys may not be fighting each other for positioning, but a win is important regardless. A loss would eliminate all margin for error the rest of the season.
