Some notes

  • The Chiefs listed four players on their injury report: quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle), right tackle Jawaan Taylor (knee), wide receiver Skyy Moore (abdomen) and a new addition — punter Matt Araiza (illness).
  • Both Mahomes, Taylor and Araiza were full participants.
  • After appearing on last week’s injury report, safety Bryan Cook and cornerback Jaylen Watson are now considered good to go for Super Bowl LIX.
  • After being limited on Wednesday, defensive tackle Jalen Carter (illness) was upgraded to a full participant. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and defensive end Brandon Graham (elbow) remain limited. Graham tore his triceps in Week 12 and hopes to play next week.
  • Left guard Landon Dickerson (knee) and center Cam Jurgens (back) were full participants after dealing with injuries throughout the playoffs.
  • In the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders, Dickerson slid to center when Jurgens could not start due to his injury. When Dickerson’s injury kept him from playing in the second half, Jurgens entered the game.
