The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles for the 2024 NFL Championship: Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) on FOX — locally on WDAF/4.
The Chiefs are already the first team to reach the league championship after back-to-back Super Bowl victories. So with a win, Kansas City will claim an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title — its fourth in five appearances over six seasons.
Standing in the way are the Eagles, who are making their third Super Bowl appearance since 2017, when they claimed the league crown with a 41-33 win over the New England Patriots. In 2022, Kansas City won the NFL title with a 38-35 victory over Philadelphia at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The Chiefs (15-2) and Eagles (14-3) have both arrived in New Orleans after assembling franchise-best regular-season records.
In the postseason, Kansas City advanced with a 23-14 victory over the Houston Texans and a 32-29 win against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship. Meanwhile, Philadelphia claimed a 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round and a 28-22 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional round before claiming the NFC title by hammering the Washington Commanders 55-23.
