The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Cornerback Trent McDuffie, who left Week 14’s contest against the Houston Texans with a hyperextended knee, is inactive Sunday. McDuffie was listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report.

Starting right guard Trey Smith and right tackle Jawaan Taylor were already ruled out on Friday with lingering injuries. Smith will miss his third straight contest while recovering from a high ankle sprain. Taylor hurt his triceps against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving and will miss his second consecutive game.

On Friday, head coach Andy Reid also confirmed that wide receiver Hollywood Brown would miss this week while addressing a personal matter. The Chiefs will also be without running back Elijah Mitchell and tight end Jared Wiley.

Tackle Wanya Morris — who suffered a gruesome looking knee injury on the first offensive snap against Houston — was listed as out on Friday. On Saturday, the Chiefs placed Morris on their Reserve/Injured list. Guard CJ Hanson was signed from the practice squad to the active roster. Hanson had previously had his three practice squad elevations exhausted. He is active for the contest.

On Saturday, Kansas City elevated practice squad tackle Chukwuebuka Godrick to the active roster. A native of Nigeria, Godrick has been with the Chiefs since 2023 as their designated International Player Pathway program. The Chiefs also elevated practice squad defensive tackle Zacch Pickens — whom the Chicago Bears drafted with the 64th overall selection of the 2023 NFL Draft.

As an elevated players, they will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. Godrick is active and making his NFL debut while Pickens will not dress.

The Chargers have also released their list of inactives.

Notably, wide receiver Quentin Johnston will not play. Johnston was added to the injury report on Friday as limited with a groin injury after not being listed for the first two practices. Although listed as questionable, he will sit Sunday.

Los Angeles had already ruled wide receiver Darius Davis out. Tackle Trey Pipkins and cornerback Elijah Molden were listed as doubtful, and they are inactive. The Chargers will also be without cornerback Nikko Reed, and pass rusher Kyle Kennard. Linebacker Troy Dye — who was listed as questionable — will play.

The Chargers have elevated wide receiver Dalevon Campbell and veteran safety Marcus Williams — who has appeared in 108 career NFL games with the New Orlans Saints and Baltimore Ravens — for the matchup. William will dress for the game, while Campbell is inactive.
