Some notes
- The Chiefs listed nine players on their report, including wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) and defensive tackle Turk Wharton (knee), who did not practice.
- Wide receiver Mecole Hardman (shoulder/knee), running back Kareem Hunt (quad) and defensive end George Karlaftis (abdomen) were all limited. Hunt has been listed on the report referencing his “quad” for two straight weeks.
- Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) was once again listed on the report due to his ankle injury, but it’s a good sign that he was listed as a full participant. Both Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid spoke about his ankle injury during their podium sessions, and we covered what they said here.
- Defensive end Mike Danna (pectoral) has missed the team’s last three games due to his pec strain, and Wednesday marked the first time since the injury that he was a full participant in practice. Cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (concussion) was also a full participant for the first time since suffering his injury. Both are thus trending in the right direction to play Sunday against the Broncos.
- Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps) has been listed on the injury report since the start of the season.
