On Sunday, Kansas City hosts Buffalo for 2024’s AFC Championship.

Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. This week, the Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills for the AFC Championship on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:

Some notes

  • The Chiefs listed just four players on their report — quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle), left guard Mike Caliendo (shoulder), right tackle Jawaan Taylor (knee) and cornerback Jaylen Watson (ankle) — but they were all full participants.
  • As was noted earlier on Wednesday, the Chiefs have chosen to leave wide receiver Mecole Hardman (knee) on the Reserve/Injured list, ending his season (more on that here).
  • For the Bills, two players were out of practice: left tackle Dion Dawkins (illness) and safety Taylor Rapp (back/hip). Bills head coach Sean McDermott has described Rapp’s status as “day to day.”
  • Cornerback Christian Benford (concussion) and linebacker Matt Milano (biceps/hamstring) were both limited to start the week. It’s worth noting that Milano missed the Bills’ Week 11 game against the Chiefs.
  • All four Bills players listed are worth watching as the week carries along.
