We’re one step closer to the 2025 NFL season.
Tuesday, May 27, marks a significant day of the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2025 calendar: the team is returning to true on-field work as Phase 3 of the offseason program gets underway.
Beginning on Tuesday, the Chiefs are conducting 10 days of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs). No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed. This will be followed by a three-day mandatory minicamp.
Kansas City will conduct its 10 voluntary OTA sessions on these dates:
Credentialed media will be permitted to attend practice and interview coaches and players on Thursday, May 27, Wednesday, June 4, and Thursday, June 12.
Media will also cover each day of Kansas City’s three-day mandatory minicamp, which will run from Tuesday, June 17 and through Thursday, June 19.
19 other NFL teams also begin Phase 3 on Tuesday. Five other teams will get underway on Wednesday. The seven teams with new head coaches opened their OTAs last week.
